Growable Dib Popper for Charles Dowding Trays
The Essential Precision Tool for Effortless Seedling Extraction.
The Growable range of dib poppers are 3D printed on demand and are available in a number of different materials and colours.
The Growable Dib Popper is designed to be compatible with the CD15, CD30, and CD60 trays.
Three versions are available:
- 5×3 designed specifically for the CD15, but also fits the CD30 and CD60 trays, allows you to dib and pop 15 cells at a time.
- 5×1 designed for all of the CD trays allows dibbing and popping of a single line of 5 in the CD15, CD30 & CD60 at a time, and can also be used to dib and pop a single line of 3 in the other direction.
- 6×1 designed for the CD60 allowing the dibbing and popping of a single line of 6, but can also be used with the CD15 and CD30 trays.
Promoting Plant Health and Efficiency
The dib popper is designed to protect your seedlings. By using the popper to eject plants, gardeners can avoid the traditional “push or pull” methods that often lead to damaged stems and stressed root systems. Beyond extraction, the tool doubles as a precision dibber, creating perfectly uniform holes at once to ensure a fast and tidy sowing session.
Key Features and Benefits
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Manufactured from tough materials, this tool is built for longevity with a life expectancy of over 15 years.
Ergonomic Design: Sturdy and durable, yet lightweight enough to be used comfortably with one hand.
Workbench Ready: Integrated screw holes allow the unit to be permanently mounted to a potting bench, creating a stable and professional extraction station.
The 60-Cell Solution: For users of the popular CD60 tray, four 5×3 poppers can be screwed to a board for maximum efficiency.
